RALEIGH FICTION WRITING GROUP

We're back! After nearly a year-long hiatus, Raleigh Fiction Writing Group is meeting again.

We welcome active writers of book-length and short fiction who are dedicated to growing as writers in a non-threatening yet challenging environment. We gather once or twice a month to share successes and rejections, critique one another's work, and celebrate the joys of writing.

The group leader, Trina Allen, is the former fiction editor of Pig and a Poke magazine.

This in-person group critiques adult fiction and literary fiction of all genres, except romance. No children's literature or poetry please! You can read some of the short stories on Trina's web site to get a flavor of the types of fiction reviewed.

If you are interested in joining, please read the criteria for accepting new members. Then e-mail Trina if you feel you may be a good match for the group.

We welcome you to join us on Facebook to discuss fiction writing: yours, ours, or your favorite author's. You don't have to be a member of the writing group to join the Facebook group.
